Back for its fourth year, The Water Project ’09 is set to get kids thinking about water and its relationships: to technology, to our environment and to its poetics.
The Water Project brings 750 students from across our region to talk water, discuss challenges, share ideas and work together to build a strong platform for school and community engagement. Led by Australia’s most famous science communicators, the Sleek Geeks, (Dr Karl Kruszelnicki and Adam Spencer), this youth-friendly educational forum encourages students to examine their relationship with water and engages their passion and intelligence.
This years program explores water from three different perspectives including:
- Information and Perception
- Nature and Design and Technology
- Poetry and Water
