Sculpture Tour and Artist Talks

Meet at the Parramatta Artists Studios 45 Hunter St, Parramatta. Chat with the artist about their works as you meander down Church Street to the river for an afternoon of art gazing. The artist will be on hand to discuss their works as the walking tour strolls to a close around 6pm.

Bicycle Library

Borrow a free bicycle from the bicycle library, a component of Deborah Vaughan’s work, Here Now: The Water Project: Shared Resources, 2008 installed in shop 8, Connection Arcade.

Explore the city and the sculpture walk as you ride to the river to discover the surrounding natural bush land.

Solar Stills

Build your own Solar Still. As part of Flood marker 2008, Grahame Chalcroft will be holding a DIY demonstration in making solar stills designed to purify water.

The demonstration will include notes a presentation of the artists past works that explore water, sustainability and the role of the artist.
