Jason Wing is inspired by his Chinese and Indigenous cultural heritage. Traditional Aboriginal stencil techniques influence his work. Wing also references the traditional Chinese paper cutting technique.
His work with people with specific needs, means he incorporates signs and symbols in his work.

Wing’s work focuses on the impact of human kind on Parramatta River. He explores both positive and negative effects. Themes such as pollution, sustainability, and respect for Mother nature question human kinds impact on the river and the ancestors that came before us.
