Carp Fish Out

The Carp Fish-Out was a great day in 2009! Come along for a fun-filled day in 2010 of fishing and entertainment, and help us to rid our local River and waterways from carp. The Carp Fish-Out is an environmentally responsible fish-a-thon held in partnership with Clean Up Australia, the fisheries industry and local businesses. The event is focused on reducing carp numbers in the local River in order to regenerate native fish stock and promote healthy waterways.

The Carp Fish-Out is family fun all day, with food stalls, live music and entertainment, fishing demonstrations, kids’ activities, face painting and a jumping castle. Entertainment and activities are located on the banks of the Parramatta River between Lennox St and Wilde St Bridges.
